Seabrook Package Redesign

Brief.

Seabrook is a know uk crips brand, that has variety of flavors, each flavor has its own color to represent it. 

I chose the most common flavor, sea salt to redesign its packaging. I decided to change the original packaging because I believe it was out dated thus making it unattractive to the target audience.

 

The new packaging aims to be more modern and accessible to its buyers. The color palette and font have been enhanced to a more mature style to captivate the target audience. Based on my research, I discovered the regular buyers often eat the one packet in separate occasions. Therefor most often complaints regard the inability to seal and reuse. Hence, I altered the packaging to be resealable as well as open in the center of the packet offering a bowl-like feature suitable for snacking and sharing.

Old Design. 
The reason I decided to redesign this package is because it is outdated, the colors are a tad immature, and based on my research the target audience ( 40 year olds and above ) don't find the package attractive, they depend on taste. 
Research stated that the target audience prefer to eat this chips throughout the day.

New Design. 
When I started creating this new package I put into consideration on how I can make this more convenient to the target audience.
The colors are more mature and modern, there is an extra feature where the bag opens from the front and can be re-closed or from the top. 
I also decided to change the logo and make it more modern, usin
g the O to represent a chip and the Arabic logo matches. 
As you can see in the image bellow, the lift sign is to open the chips and reseal it. The area where the logo is placed is transparent, leading you to see the crispy chips inside.
